Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, the 23-year-old SSC Napoli striker under contract until 2027, had been the target of a concrete offer from Paris Saint-Germain during the 2024 summer mercato, but his club had not opened the door despite pressure from his entourage. This winter, PSG managed to reach an agreement that would be around 70 million euros plus bonuses. RMC Sport and Le Parisien now claim that the player is arriving in the capital today, but that we’ll have to wait for his signature.
“Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is expected in Paris this evening. Medical this Friday morning, followed by the signing of his contract with PSG (until 2029).”
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday…Kvaratkshelia will at some point sign for PSG and one of the media will be right about one of the claims. We always remain cautious, as we know that the media have difficulty being precise about the exact timing of a transfer (as with many rumors). It’s no surprise that there are discrepancies. It’s a pity that everyone continues to be so assertive without certainty.
Let’s hope it’s for Friday, as it’s so clearly stated here. But at least the Georgian international should sign for PSG very soon, and play, that’s the main thing.
