Gonçalo Ramos, Paris Saint-Germain’s 23-year-old striker, stopped by the mixed zone after the 7-0 victory over Brest (video highlights PSG/Brest,10-0 aggregate) this Wednesday at the Parc des Princes as part of the Champions League 2024-2025 play-offs. He talked about this special success and the one thing that has changed in the team.
Ramos “Now we’re scoring, that’s what makes the difference.”
How do you feel about it ?
The score is magnificent, it’s a lot. But there’s a lot of trust between our team and our players. We’re going to enjoy today. But tomorrow’s another day and we’re going to coach ourselves again.
The team played to the end despite the gap.
We’re not going to stop. It’s our way of respecting the other team. And we’re not doing any special things or tricks. We just carry on, playing as usual.
What has changed in the team over the course of the season ?
I think we’re still playing the same way. The difference is that now we’re more confident. The goals are coming. Before, we created a lot but didn’t score much. Now we’re scoring, and that’s what makes the difference.
