Joshua Kimmich, the 30-year-old right-sided midfielder under contract to Bayern Munich until 2025, was rumored to be in the sights of Paris Saint-Germain during the 2024 summer mercato, and now he’s back for 2025 despite still not having extended his contract. Bild reports this Wednesday that a Parisian offer has been made, while Bayern are still hoping to reach an agreement.

Bayern are optimistic about an extension, and PSG have made a concrete offer.
The possibility of a move to Arsenal is currently out of the question. At present, the situation boils down to : Bayern or Paris!
Nothing impossible, but we remain cautious as there is nothing concrete yet. Last summer’s offer from PSG has not been officially confirmed, so we’ll have to wait and see if there is one this time. It could simply be a media stunt to spice things up, or a pressure tactic by the player’s entourage to try and obtain an even better offer from Bayern.
Kimmich is a great player, and Paris could try to take advantage of the end of his contract, even if it goes a little beyond the idea of recruiting young talent since 2023. For a talent like that, it’s possible to adapt. But nothing is certain.
