As it does after each round of league matches, L’Équipe has drawn up its squad for the 26th day of Ligue 1 2024-2025, which was played over the weekend (find results and standings here). With their 1-3 victory over Olympique de Marseille at the Parc des Princes, Paris Saint-Germain saw 4 of their players selected.
These are logical additions to the team, even if PSG were not always very convincing collectively. They were visibly tired against a physically fresher OM. But Lucas Beraldo (21) was impressively serene, Vitinha (25) a boss in midfield, Fabian Ruiz (28) a decisive factor (2 assists in particular) and Ousmane Dembélé (27) the great creator of chances as well as opening the scoring.
Nuno Mendes (22-year-old left-back) could perhaps have been present, but his failed back-pass that led to Marseille’s goal hurt. And that’s just what this inconsistent Parisian team is all about. There are, of course, other Ligue 1 players to celebrate too.
