On Saturday at the Parc des Princes, Paris Saint-Germain beat Angers 1-0 on Matchday 28 of Ligue 1 2024-2025 (video highlights PSG/Angers). We then asked our readers, as they do after every match from now on, to vote for the best Parisian of the match. Désiré Doué (19-year-old midfielder/attacker) came out on top.
An unsurprising victory for the player who was a bit of a “detonator” in an otherwise quiet PSG. Angers concentrated on defending, and Paris struggled to get into shooting positions.
But Doué provided some nice sparks, as did Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (24-year-old striker)…who we forgot to put on! The title party must have been really intense and Ousmane Dembélé (27) “took his place”. The decisive passer deserved to be on the podium. But the goalscorer of the day would undoubtedly have been first.
Vitinha (25-year-old midfielder) and Willian Pacho (23-year-old defender) are no surprises on the podium. The former was a metronome in midfield, and the latter a real “rock” in the rare Angevines situations.
