Alexander Isak, the 25-year-old striker from Newcastle (contract until 2028) and Sweden, is one of a number of players who have been mentioned as being in Paris Saint-Germain’s sights for the mercato. PSG Inside Actus now claims that the Swede is a priority and is ready to leave his club in order to take his career to the next level.
“Newcastle’s Swedish striker, who enjoyed a remarkable season in the Premier League, is still one of the capital club’s top priorities. Courted by numerous European giants – Juventus, Liverpool, Atlético Madrid and Chelsea – the Swede leaves no one indifferent.
According to several sources close to the matter, Isak is keen to move elsewhere. Despite an important position at Newcastle, he is considering a new challenge, notably with a club qualified for the Champions League.
On the Parisian side, the price does not seem to be an obstacle. PSG is ready to make a significant financial effort to secure the services of a player who fits the profile perfectly: young, experienced and used to European jousts. “
It’s fair to say that Isak has a lot to offer PSG and other big clubs. Just as he may be keen to seize a possible opportunity to join a club perhaps better equipped for the Champions League. A transfer to Paris, where Gonçalo Ramos (23), in particular, is not imposing himself, is not unthinkable.
However, there is absolutely nothing concrete. PSG may well have other plans, as may Isak. Not to mention Newcastle, who might not sell easily.
