Joshua Kimmich, the 29-year-old right-sided midfielder under contract to Bayern Munich until 2025, has been rumoured to be in the sights of Paris Saint-Germain for the 2024 summer mercato. But he could also stay with the German club, and his decision is awaited, especially as other rivals are being mooted (in La Liga and the Premier League). Nothing is impossible, as PSG logically wants to move forward with its mercato and see things clearly. If there is indeed hope for Kimmich, a response from the player would be appreciated. Especially as negotiations with Bayern are not a foregone conclusion.
However, we remain cautious as there is still nothing concrete to report. The German international could well stay at Bayern or move to another club. Indeed, several rumours suggest that he prefers the Premier League or La Liga to PSG. The latter’s interest has not been confirmed either.
