This Saturday evening, Paris Saint-Germain won 5-0 (video highlights PSG/Inter Milan) against Inter Milan in the final of the Champions League 2024-2025 at Munich’s Allianz Arena. Here we present you with some of the highlights and lowlights of this historic victory.
Tops –
Doué
We couldn’t start this top without mentioning him. He plays like an experienced player. He scored two goals and set up one after a high-flying move. Well done to him. He’s programmed for great things.
Dembélé
He ran relentlessly. He fought for every ball, he gave away goal balls, he made useful gestures. Thanks to him for his season. A leader and surely one of the best players in the world.
Vitinha
It’s often forgotten, but PSG is much stronger since he joined the club. His tempo in a match gives the pulse of the team. When it’s time to calm things down, he calms everyone down by keeping the ball, and when it’s time to move forward, he drives things forward. Well done to him.
Donnarumma
You can’t win the LDC without a great goalkeeper. Gigio is certainly such a keeper. Even if his final came down to little, as Paris dominated the proceedings, we salute him, because to win a final, you have to qualify, and if Paris did that, Donnarumma had a lot to do with it.
Marquinhos
Marquinhos played with personality and character, and his tears at the end marked a turning point in PSG’s history. As the club’s most successful and capped player, he can claim to have won everything here. He’s a legend.
Pacho
Willian who? Pacho. Nobody was betting on him, the fans were surprised by his arrival, yet his season has all the hallmarks of a great man. Intractable, he has clearly taken his place among the world’s best defenders.
Hakimi
He’s always running, never stopping. He fights in front and behind without a second thought. The top scorer in the final, he is also the best right-back in the world and one of the best players on the planet.
Nuno Mendes
Often criticized at the start of the season, Nuno Mendes has taken a serious step forward in 2025. Defensively, he put the best wingers to the sword, and offensively, his qualities are well known. With a hip injury, he continued to fight for history on Saturday evening.
Joao Neves
What a player. Barely 20 and already a midfield stalwart. His future is already written. He’s simple, he’s calm, but on the pitch, he suffocates opponents and has turned PSG into an impregnable midfield machine. A man of the shadows, he doesn’t seek the limelight for himself, but wants to make others shine.
Fabian Ruiz
Not the most spectacular player, but surely one of the most intelligent. His positioning on the pitch is almost perfect. He’s always where he’s needed. PSG’s victory is also down to him.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia
Even though he was average in the first half, he showed his worth. Better in the second, his goal, his energy and his incessant defensive returns make him one of PSG’s best recruits in recent years. What a player.
Senny Mayulu and all the incoming players
The young titi scored and his infectious joy shows that this PSG has weapons for the future. Ramos, Lee, Zaïre-Emery, Lucas Hernandez and Beraldo and the others also deserve laurels. Healthy competition has clearly given this PSG a new dimension.
Luis Enrique
He is the architect of victory. Even if the players are at the forefront, you need a guide, and Luis Enrique is a very valuable character. As far as soccer is concerned, he knows what he’s talking about, and his worst result with Pars was an LDC semi-final. He will forever be the first Paris coach to win this great competition. I’d like to thank him for everything he’s done for the club.
