PSG secured the points against the Seattle Sounders thanks to a decisive performance from Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (24) and a generally solid team. While players such as Senny Mayulu (19) and Fabián Ruiz (29) disappointed with their lack of impact, the defense and key players such as Achraf Hakimi (26) were up to the task.
This controlled victory confirms Paris’ good momentum, while underlining the need for certain midfielders to raise their game for the rest of the competition. Donnarumma fell back into his old ways with an avoidable scare of little consequence.
