Palmer: “We played a great final against a great team.”
Was it a special moment for you? Absolutely. It’s an incredible feeling. Everyone had us down as underdogs — we knew it. But we delivered a great final against a great side.
Another standout performance from you in a final? Yeah, I do love finals!
Tell us about your two goals. I knew there’d be space to exploit, and I’m just really happy with how it turned out.
Is Chelsea’s project moving forward? I’m really pleased. We’re heading in the right direction. A lot of nonsense was said about our season — but we’ve shown what we’re made of.
