The 2025 summer transfer window is now underway, and will run until September 1st at 8 p.m. in France, so rumors surrounding Paris Saint-Germain are piling up. This time, it’s Le Parisien that’s making a huge announcement: PSG no longer intends to recruit this summer.
“Renato Marin, Lucas Chevalier, Illia Zabarnyi, and that’s it. PSG has, according to our information, completed its transfer window in terms of arrivals. Unless things change, the two goalkeepers and the defender will be the only three recruits in the summer market, which ends on September 1st in France. Luis Enrique, the coach, wanted all his reinforcements before the start of the championship, and his wishes have been granted.”
This may come as a big surprise to some, who are still waiting for additional players at PSG. But it’s a credible choice, as the squad is already pretty well equipped if we consider that Lee Kang-In or Gonçalo Ramos are not for sale, while their departure is sometimes desired. Not on the club’s side, according to the newspaper.
Be careful though, this is just a rumor and therefore nothing certain. There could be twists and turns before September 1st at 8 p.m. We can’t even rule out that this rumor is launched by Paris in order to get price reductions. That’s the game of the transfer window.
