Arnau Tenas, a 24-year-old Spanish goalkeeper who signed with Paris Saint-Germain until 2026 in the summer of 2023 after his contract with FC Barcelona ended, has had almost no playing time so far. AS reports today that his transfer to Villarreal is almost complete.
“Arnau Tenas’ departure (transfer) to Villarreal is almost complete!
M The goalkeeper could be on the bench at Balaidos on Sunday.

We are cautious that this is not concrete, as we know that the transfer market can change quickly between rumors and what is official. But Tenas seems to be heading to Villarreal. Several media outlets have already mentioned it.
It’s a great destination for Tenas, with a club at the top of La Liga and qualified for the Champions League. He would have to earn his place and prove his qualities. But it is at least more playing time than at PSG, while still remaining at the top of the table.
For PSG, this allows them to offload a player who no longer has a place in Paris, thus avoiding having to pay his salary while he sits on the bench. We therefore hope for confirmation soon, with Villarreal trying to sign him at a lower price.
