Every month, the UNFP organizes the election of the best player in Ligue 1. For the August 2025 election, one Paris Saint-Germain player was in the final. The competition was between Ilan Kebbal (23-year-old attacking midfielder from Paris FC), Tyler Morton (19-year-old midfielder from Olympique Lyonnais), and João Neves (20-year-old midfielder from PSG). Kebbal won.
It’s an understandable victory, Kebbal played an important role in a Paris FC rather interesting for its promotion to Ligue 1. We had hope for Neves, exceptional in particular in Toulouse, but it’s not as surprising as his non-victory for the most beautiful goal at least.
