“Since last night, I’ve been thinking about it. It’s recognition of the work I’ve done. It’s an immense joy. There’s a lot of stress, of course, a lot of stress. But once they announce the winner, it’s pure joy, and I was very proud.”
His emotions
“I didn’t want to cry. But the emotions were building, building up. With my mother, who raised me on her own and has been there since the beginning—my mother, it’s exceptional.”
