Paris Saint-Germain has announced, as reported by Le Parisien, that in October it will unveil a special jersey featuring the pink ribbon, the universal symbol of the fight against breast cancer. The men’s, women’s, and handball teams of the Parisian club will wear this kit in support of the “Pink October” campaign.

During these three matches, the club’s venues will be lit up in pink, and awareness campaigns aimed at the public will be organized, the club said in a statement. A range of dedicated products will also be available for sale to encourage donations for breast cancer research. Starting September 29, PSG will offer a Pink October scarf and tote bag in its official stores.
The funds collected last year notably helped improve patient care and support by renovating the consultation nurse’s office, setting up therapeutic education workshops, and financing specialized training.
Through this initiative, Paris Saint-Germain reaffirms its desire to use its global image to support an essential public health cause. Players from both football and handball will wear this redesigned jersey in several fixtures, while the Parc des Princes and other club venues will turn pink for the occasion.
A scarf and tote bag bearing the Pink October logo will also be on sale in PSG stores, with proceeds going toward research and patient support. Last year, the funds raised already enabled concrete improvements, such as the renovation of the consultation nurse’s office and the financing of therapeutic workshops. By combining sport, solidarity, and international visibility, PSG demonstrates the power of football in serving society.
