Eric Garcia, the 24-year-old Spanish defender for FC Barcelona (whose contract expires in the summer of 2026), has been linked with Paris Saint-Germain during the transfer window. However, Sport claims this is a lead that can be virtually ruled out, as his future seems to lie with Barça.
We’re remaining cautious, since it’s not yet official. But this seemed the most likely outcome from the start of the rumors, so we can assume that Eric Garcia will indeed extend his contract with Barça. There’s no surprise there; the main question is whether PSG truly made a real attempt to sign the Spaniard.
