Noham Kamara, the 18-year-old defender under contract with Paris Saint-Germain until 2028, has been linked with a move away this winter transfer window. Discussions with Olympique Lyonnais have been mentioned. 90min confirmed this trend on Friday, although nothing is finalized.
“PSG A departure for Noham Kamara this winter is possible, as reported by Le Mechenoua
OL is interested in a loan with an option to buy for the 18-year-old defender.
English and German clubs are also monitoring his situation; Eupen is not expected to be an option.”
We remain cautious; nothing is signed, and therefore nothing is certain. Lyon may be interested in acquiring this reinforcement at a lower cost, but an agreement is not yet in place. Negotiations are never simple, especially for a loan (salary split, purchase option or not, and the amount if there is one…). Also, Kamara and PSG may have other offers. Similarly, Lyon might have other options, even if their financial difficulties limit their choices.
So let’s wait for certainty, as is often the case during the transfer window. But a loan for Kamara would make sense, given how difficult playing time is for him at PSG.
