This Saturday, as part of Matchday 24 of Ligue 1 2025-2026, Paris Saint-Germain faced Le Havre at the Stade Océane. Mory Diaw, the 32-year-old Le Havre goalkeeper, spoke to Ligue1+ after PSG’s 1-0 victory.
Diaw: “We didn’t want to be frustrated, but we are.”
You were so close?
It’s definitely frustrating. At halftime, we told ourselves we had 45 minutes to be more clinical in front of goal. We had chances, we didn’t want to be frustrated, but we are. We have this nagging feeling that we could have done more.
Any regrets about losing to PSG?
Absolutely. We’re a team that likes to play attacking football, we didn’t sit back, we went after them, we played to our strengths. We all have regrets.
The penalty save against Doué?
I’m a PSG supporter, I saw him take it against Liverpool and I chose that side, it worked out for me (smiles).
