Each month, the UNFP (French National Union of Professional Footballers) organizes the election of the best player in Ligue 1. For the February 2026 election, no Paris Saint-Germain player was in the final. The competition was between Ludovic Ajorque (32-year-old striker for Brest), Folarin Balogun (24-year-old striker for AS Monaco), and Joaquin Panichelli (23-year-old forward for Strasbourg). Ajorque emerged victorious.
