This Friday, for Matchday 28 of Ligue 1 2025-2026, Paris Saint-Germain (1st) faces Toulouse (9th) at the Parc des Princes (kick-off at 8:45 PM, CET). Ahead of this match, the press has been trying to predict the starting lineup that Parisian coach Luis Enrique will field.
Le Parisien (4-3-3) –
Kvaratskhelia – Dembélé – Lee
Dro – Zaïre-Emery – Neves
Hernandez – Beraldo – Zabarnyi – Hakimi
Safonov.
L’Equipe (4-3-3) –
Kvaratskhelia – Dembélé – Doué
Lee – Vitinha – Zaïre-Emery
Hernandez – Beraldo – Zabarnyi – Hakimi
Safonov.
The lineups are all quite credible, but there’s absolutely no certainty since Luis Enrique isn’t giving any hints to the media. We have to try and anticipate, which is extremely difficult. It’s the end of the international break, and on top of that, the Champions League resumes this Wednesday with the first leg of the quarter-final against Liverpool.
Since this match is on Friday, a somewhat surprising choice, they’ll have to work with the players who are fittest and least likely to be injured. We don’t have all the information, as each player is different and travel schedules vary. Many played on Sunday evening, which allows for some flexibility, or on Tuesday night/Wednesday morning, which is a bit more complicated.
With the competition and versatility within the squad, we expect rotation while maintaining a competitive team, as they need to keep winning in this very tight title race. We’ll wait for the official lineup announcement, about an hour before the match, for any certainty.
