This Tuesday, Paris Saint-Germain faces Liverpool at Anfield in the second leg of their 2025-2026 Champions League quarter-final (kick-off at 9 pm, CET). On Tuesday evening, Le Parisien published a predicted PSG lineup.
Kvaratskhelia – Dembélé – Doué
Zaïre-Emery – Vitinha – Neves
Mendes – Pacho – Marquinhos – Hakimi
Safonov
A perfectly credible lineup, given their success in the first leg. It’s difficult to change things after such a performance, but there’s still some suspense surrounding the return of Bradley Barcola (the 23-year-old forward).
He’s had time to prepare, and his speed is a real asset against a Liverpool side that will be forced to open up. While it could wait until the end of the match, having such a counter-attacking weapon might also dampen the desire to press high and ignite the game.
We’re still waiting for the official announcement, about an hour before kickoff, to be certain. Coach Luis Enrique knows how to surprise and doesn’t leak information to the media. Even so, we should be very close to the starting eleven announced here, with a preferred lineup taking shape over the weeks.
