Luis Enrique, coach of Paris Saint-Germain, held a press conference this Tuesday ahead of facing Bayern Munich at the Parc des Princes tomorrow (kick-off at 9pm, CET) in the first leg of the semi-final (second leg on May 6) of the 2025-2026 Champions League. On the sidelines of this event, the Spaniard also spoke to PSG TV.
Luis Enrique: “Everyone is ready, no need to ask.”
How are you?
These kinds of days are incredible. Everyone is ready, no need to ask. Even Quentin Ndjantou is almost ready, he wants to play (smiles).
Luis Enrique: “We tell the players, they have to enjoy these moments.”
What are your feelings before the semi-final?
It’s an incredible feeling, we’re used to it, thankfully. It’s not easy to be here. We tell the players, they have to enjoy these moments. You never know if you’ll experience it again in the future. Everyone is ready, eager to play the semi-final, over two legs. Regardless of the result or who plays, we’re ready. We’ll see which team is the best.
Will the Parc des Princes be a big factor in the first leg, in what will be a physical match?
In terms of the intensity of the game, with or without the ball. There will be times when Bayern will have possession. But that atmosphere is always very important. We’ll need to play well both at home and away. Bayern also has that ability, like last winter at the Parc des Princes. We’ll still have our connection with the fans. That will be important.
