This Wednesday, Paris Saint-Germain (1st) faces Nantes (17th) at the Parc des Princes in a rescheduled match from Matchday 26 of the 2025-2026 Ligue 1 season (kick-off at 7 pm, CET). PSG coach Luis Enrique must choose his starting eleven, taking into account the opponent, upcoming matches, and the risk of suspensions, after having selected the Parisian squad for this encounter.
It’s very difficult to predict Luis Enrique’s choices, as he doesn’t give any clues, relies on precise management of playing time, and knows how to make bold decisions. PSG has a very busy schedule, notably with the Champions League semi-final coming up very soon (April 28th and May 6th), but also needs points in the title race.
It’s therefore necessary to rest some players while fielding a competitive side. Nantes is struggling, but they are also battling to avoid relegation, which could provide additional strength. In any case, we must respect our opponents. We all know that football is anything but easy; victories must be earned.
