On Wednesday, in a rescheduled match from Matchday 26 of the 2025-2026 Ligue 1 season, Paris Saint-Germain faced Nantes at the Parc des Princes. Anthony Lopes, the 35-year-old Nantes goalkeeper and captain, spoke to reporters in the mixed zone after PSG’s 3-0 victory.

What are your feelings after the defeat?
Disappointment. We came here with the intention of getting a result. After that, it was complicated because after 10 minutes there was that completely logical penalty for a clear handball. Yes, it’s complicated. VAR is there, it comes down to very little, especially on our goal. Now, this tool is there, we have to deal with it. We really thought we’d equalize, and do what we do well. That wasn’t the case. We had to get our heads straight, it wasn’t easy.
