This Wednesday, Paris Saint-Germain faces Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena in the second leg of their Champions League semi-final (PSG won the first leg 5-4) for the 2025-2026 season (kick-off at 9 pm, CET). PSG coach Luis Enrique must choose his starting eleven, taking into account the opponent, upcoming matches, and the risk of suspensions, after having selected the squad for this encounter.
As always, it’s impossible to be certain with Luis Enrique. Even if a near-perfect starting eleven is emerging as the big matches progress, some doubts remain. Notably, Bradley Barcola (23-year-old forward) could start this time. Fabian Ruiz (30-year-old midfielder) could also start, although it’s unclear whether he’s match-fit after a difficult appearance off the bench eight days ago. There’s also the possibility of a tactical move, such as playing Doué in midfield to break the press and sting Bayern.
Possible lineup:
Kvaratskhelia – Dembélé – Doué
Zaïre-Emery – Vitinha – Neves
Mendes – Pacho – Marquinhos – Hakimi
Safonov
Substitutes – Laurendon, Marin, Vignaud, Beraldo, Hernandez, Zabarnyi, Dro, Lee, Mayulu, Barcola, Mbaye, Ramos.
Unavailable – Chevalier, Hakimi, Ndjantou (blessure).
Possible suspension for yellow cards: None, as it would only be for a red card according to the regulations (three yellow cards are required for a suspension in this competition, and they are reset to zero upon reaching the semi-finals).
