On Sunday evening, Paris Saint-Germain hosted Stade Brestois for the final match of the season at the Parc des Princes. And it was during this 33rd matchday (with one game in hand) that the heavily rotated Red and Blue secured a narrow 1-0 victory. Hugo Magnetti, midfielder for SB29, spoke to Ligue1+ about the team’s defensive solidity in this match, despite the defeat:

A solid match?
There are no good defeats, but today we showed heart and were courageous and solid defensively. And we were. There are some great talents who come on and make the difference; there’s nothing we can do about that. I’m very proud of the team because we were very strong tonight.
What’s the objective?
We’d prefer to get 6 points out of 6 at home because we know that if we manage that, we might even finish in the top 11 or top 10. That would be fantastic for the club; we have to do it for the fans. We deserve it.
