Mika Godts, the 21-year-old Belgian forward for Ajax Amsterdam (under contract until 2029), who has enjoyed an excellent season, is being targeted by Paris Saint-Germain (his agent is also involved, and the Dutch club has confirmed this). Sky Sport reports that PSG is preparing a second proposal for the Belgian international.
However, an agreement remains uncertain.
Paris Saint-Germain is not giving up on Mika Godts; according to information obtained by Gianluigi Bagnulo, the French club is preparing a new offer for the Ajax forward. The club is ready to submit an increased bid of €55 million. However, Ajax—having signed the talent from Genk last year for a fee of around €400,000—does not appear willing to let the player go cheaply.
It is worth noting that nothing is confirmed yet. These are merely figures, and transfer rumors often circulate widely. However, it makes sense for Paris to pursue this major talent, who recorded 15 goals and 17 assists across all competitions this season. His style is similar to that of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (25), to be precise.
PSG likely also appreciates the Belgian’s determination; his agent has quickly highlighted his desire to sign with Paris. This does not, however, guarantee an agreement between the two clubs. While the gap between the €55 million offer and the €65 million asking price is relatively small, the deal still needs to be finalized.
