This Friday, shortly before kick-off against AS Monaco (Matchday 3 of Ligue 1), Paris Saint-Germain made a major announcement at the Parc des Princes. The club officially confirmed six contract extensions at once: Luis Enrique (head coach), Lucas Beraldo (22-year-old midfielder), Senny Mayulu (20-year-old midfielder/forward), João Neves (21-year-old midfielder), Willian Pacho (24-year-old defender), and Fabián Ruiz (30-year-old midfielder).
All of them have extended their contracts with PSG: Luis Enrique (2030), Beraldo (2031), Mayulu (2031), Neves (2031), Pacho (2031), and Ruiz (2028). For the others, the clear intention is to commit to the project for the long term. As for Ruiz—who has previously expressed a desire to return to Real Betis at some point in his career—one might anticipate a departure next year via a low-fee sale, or a free transfer in two years. For now, the focus is on enjoying a PSG side built on solid foundations.
