Following Paris Saint-Germain’s matches in October—and in keeping with our current practice of using the top-three rankings from our “Player of the Match” polls—we invited you to vote for the “Player of the Month.” Désiré Doué (a 21-year-old midfielder/forward) came out on top.
As a reminder, the matches played in October were:
PSG vs. Le Mans (3–1), Manchester City vs. PSG (2–4), Strasbourg vs. PSG (1–3), PSG vs. FC Barcelona (4–2), PSG vs. Olympique Lyonnais (2–0), and Le Havre vs. PSG (5–1).
PSG Player of the Month for October:

It’s a great win for Doué, who has effectively dispelled the doubts and criticisms from the start of the season. With Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (26) and Ousmane Dembélé (21) sidelined, he has fully stepped into the role of leader for the attacking play—all while being careful not to overdo it, yet consistently remaining decisive.
There were other strong contenders, too: Achraf Hakimi (28-year-old right-back) and Fabián Ruiz (30-year-old midfielder) round out the top three nicely. Above all, we saw a very good PSG side—and that is what matters most.
Thank you for your votes! Please note that the top-three rankings from these “Player of the Month” polls will be used to determine the candidates for the “Player of the Season” award; to be among the nominees, a player must have finished in the top three at least once.
