Arnau Tenas, the 23-year-old Spanish goalkeeper who signed for Paris Saint-Germain until 2026 in the summer of 2023 following the end of his contract at FC Barcelona, is currently without playing time. Today, L’Equipe reports that Stade Rennais are interested.
“If Rennes were to land a possible number one sooner, how would Mandanda react? It’s a delicate subject for a player of his stature. In particular, there has been an enquiry about 23-year-old Parisian Arnau Tenas, Olympic champion with Spain and number three in the PSG hierarchy, which has not yet gone any further.”
We’ll have to wait and see. Even if the news is confirmed, the rest of the transfer is far from certain. There’s nothing certain at the moment. But there is at least some hope of finding a way out for Tenas. Nobody can be satisfied with his situation at PSG.
Let’s wait and see if a transfer can be arranged, either on loan or on a permanent basis. In any case, Rennes would not be a bad option, even if the season is not an easy one.
