Lee Kang-in, the 24-year-old Paris Saint-Germain midfielder/forward, had to leave the field injured during Wednesday’s Intercontinental Cup final against Flamengo. Visibly suffering from a thigh injury, he was replaced by 19-year-old Senny Mayulu.
We hope it’s nothing too serious for Lee, but it’s easy to doubt it, as he seemed to be in considerable pain with his thigh. This muscle problem could easily sideline him for weeks. It’s another blow for PSG, just as the injury list was finally clearing up. We’ll have to wait for the results of the tests to know more.
