This Tuesday, Paris Saint-Germain take on Brest at the Stade du Roudourou for the first leg of the Champions League 2024-2025 play-off (kick-off 6.45pm, UTC+1 and return on Wednesday February 19). Paris coach Luis Enrique must choose his starting 11, taking into account the opponent, upcoming matches and suspension risks, after having formed the Parisian squad for this match.
It’s always hard to guess which team Luis Enrique will choose, given his ability to surprise. In particular, it depends on the competition in training that we don’t see, as well as the precise analysis made of the opponent, which he obviously doesn’t share.
All the same, a more or less “type-team” has been emerging lately, with a few lingering hesitations. Like the exact place of Désiré Doué or the possible inclusion of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. In any case, we have no doubt that he will field the best possible XI in his eyes to win in Brest. There’s no question of any form of management for this match.
Possible line-up :
Barcola – Kvaratskhelia – Dembélé
Doué – Vitinha – Neves
Mendes – Pacho – Marquinhos – Hakimi
Donnarumma
Substitutes – Safonov, Tenas, Beraldo, Hernandez, Kimpembe, Lee, Mayulu, Ruiz, Ramos.
Out : Mbaye, Zaïre-Emery (injury), El Hannach, Tape, Zague (choice).
Possible suspension for yellow card: Fabian Ruiz.
This would be effective for the return play-off on Wednesday February 19.
