It’s an entirely feasible team, with coach Luis Enrique’s desire to have a competitive eleven and to involve all the players. There’s often a bit of rotation. In any case, this seems necessary in a competition such as this, especially at the end of a very trying season.
We’ll just have to wait and see which players will be affected. Who needs to take a breather, and who has been given “merit” by the coach and his staff in order to get started? We could, for example, envisage a rotation in the middle, with Lucas Beraldo in place of Willian Pacho or Marquinhos, then the other on the bench for the next match.
In midfield, seeing Warren Zaïre-Emery start seems to make sense after his fine debut against Atlético Madrid. It would also bring a bit of rotation, which will no doubt continue in the changes. João Neves could also come in as a right-back.
