As part of the Nations League, Equipe de France was at Stade Poljud on Thursday to take on Croatia. The match featured 4 Paris Saint-Germain players on the French side: Warren Zaïre-Emery, Désiré Doué, Bradley Barcola and Ousmane Dembélé. Dembélé was the starter, while Barcola came on during the 2-0 defeat. Here are the Bleus notes in the press.

There’s no surprise, France lost 2-0 and it’s a big disappointment. So the marks are very low. However, there was nothing wrong with Les Bleus, who dominated (16 shots to 8, 62% possession and 9 corners to 3). But Croatia were more incisive and effective.

In any case, there’s no doubt that they could have done better, given their squad. A reaction is expected and will be necessary on Sunday if we are to qualify for the next stage. We’re expecting to see a slightly different team, especially with the short rest period.
