Lee Kang-In, Paris Saint-Germain’s 24-year-old midfielder/attacker, suffered an injury during Thursday’s draw between South Korea and Oman in the 2026 World Cup qualifier. There are initial indications following tests carried out.

« Lee Kang-in s'est blessé à la cheville gauche pendant le match.

Après un examen approfondi, le médecin traitant a estimé qu'il ne s'agissait pas d'une blessure grave.

Après l’entraînements demain, nous observerons les progrès et déciderons du plan d'opération

“Lee Kang-in injured his left ankle during the match.

After a thorough examination, the attending physician has ruled that it is not a serious injury.

After training tomorrow, we’ll monitor progress and decide on an operation plan.”

Reassuringly, Lee shouldn’t be out for long. It remains to be seen whether he’ll be back for South Korea’s second match of the break, which would be a bit of a surprise. But there is hope that he will soon be back with PSG. For the time being, the infirmary is virtually empty. Let’s hope this continues.
