The 2025 summer mercato isn’t open yet, of course, but it’s already underway, so rumors about Paris Saint-Germain still arrive from time to time. This time, Marca is reporting that PSG are interested in Bryan Bugarin, Real Madrid’s 16-year-old attacking midfielder.
“A few days ago the cadet A triumphed in the Al Kass tournament (Doha). Bryan Bugarín, who at 16 years of age has just signed his first professional contract, stood out. Madrid’s directors know they cannot speculate on the future of the former Celta player.”
Le journal espagnol affirme en effet que le PSG est un des clubs qui suit Bugarin de très près, avec l’espoir de l’attirer avant l’éclosion totale. Cela malgré un contrat professionnel déjà signé jusqu’en 2028.
We can agree with the media that Paris may well be tempted by the young talent. It’s only logical that clubs should be on the lookout for new prodigies and try to get them on their books before the price tag becomes astronomical. Or even unattainable.
But we’re bound to be cautious here, as we’re used to seeing numerous rumours every year without the slightest confirmation behind them. And now there’s a Spanish media outlet mentioning PSG and Real Madrid. It’s a classic “Madrid win”, even though there was nothing there. Paris is a great club to spice things up. Let’s wait and see if there’s more to it than that.
