Paris Saint-Germain’s goalkeepers have been less than satisfactory in recent weeks. At least, the two who have played: Gianluigi Donnarumma (25) and Matvey Safonov (25). Arnau Tenas (23), who arrived in the summer of 2023 following the end of his contract at Barcelona, has not had the opportunity to show his worth. According to Le Parisien, coach Luis Enrique has the idea.
Tenas may not play in the next few days. It’s only a rumour at the moment, and we can’t forget that the “under-performances” of Donnarumma and Safonov have been somewhat exaggerated by observers and fans.
However, Luis Enrique has already stated several times in the media that he has 3 very good goalkeepers and that he wants everyone to be ready. The Spanish keeper can therefore be hopeful, and no doubt fights every day for his chance. It’s not unreasonable to expect him to get it when the other two haven’t shone.
He’ll be one to watch, even more so with a very busy schedule until Christmas (a match every 3 days, and not the least). In any case, we wish Tenas every success in making the most of the opportunity if it arises.
