This Monday marks the start of a new international break, the September one. Georgia coach Willy Sagnol has announced his squad to face Turkey (September 4) and Bulgaria (September 7) in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, PSG’s 24-year-old striker and the only Georgian in the squad, has been called up.
This call-up is perfectly logical, since Kvaratskhelia is a pillar of Georgia and has been able to play for PSG. His minor muscle discomfort last weekend is already over, and he should be able to play again.
