At the end of the season, there will be friendly matches for national teams, followed by the World Cup for the qualified countries. Georgia is not among the latter, but they will play against Romania (June 2nd) and Bahrain (June 5th). Willy Sagnol, the Georgian national team coach, has announced his squad. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, the 25-year-old Paris Saint-Germain striker and the only Georgian player in the squad, is included.

It is not yet certain whether Kvaratskhelia will play on Tuesday, June 2nd against Romania, as he will be playing in the Champions League final on Saturday, June 30th against Arsenal. He will likely start.
