Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Paris Saint-Germain’s 24-year-old striker, has been shining since his arrival at the capital club in the last winter mercato. In an interview with PSG TV, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia reflects on his magnificent goal in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final against Aston Villa (3-1).

“My goal against Aston Villa? It’s probably the most important, joyful and moving goal I’ve ever scored. I was absolutely delighted. I hope I go on to score even more beautiful and meaningful goals.”

It was a magnificent goal which, in part, sent PSG through to the semi-finals of the competition. In this match, the Georgian showed the full extent of his talent, particularly his accuracy in front of goal. Having arrived in the winter, Kvaratskhelia had to prove himself very quickly.

His integration was rapid, as evidenced by his very first performances for Paris. Now a key member of Luis Enrique’s squad, we hope he can once again demonstrate his accuracy in front of goal in the double-header against Arsenal, which promises to be a very high-level affair.
