Football is constantly evolving, especially when it comes to refereeing. Le Parisien reports that a major innovation is about to be introduced in Ligue 1. Indeed, during the Paris FC/Rennes and Olympique Lyonnais/PSG matches this weekend (Ligue 1 Matchday 12), the referee will wear a body camera.

We’ve already seen this type of camera, notably during the Club World Cup. This allows for a closer look at the referees and players. We’ll leave it to everyone to form their own opinion, but it’s certainly an interesting experiment. The match between PSG and Lyon may allow for a more precise assessment.
