In the 24th round of Ligue 1 2024-2025, Paris Saint-Germain take on Lille at the Parc des Princes this Saturday at 9.05pm (UTC+1). A match with a European flavour.

Match schedule for Matchday 24.
1st-placed PSG host 4th-placed Lille. It’s already a great match-up for the championship. There’s also the fact that these are France’s last two Champions League contenders. All the more reason to expect a certain level of performance, but also a little management before the Round of 8 matches against Dortmund (for Lille on Tuesday) and Liverpool (the Parisians’ opponent on Wednesday).
Behind them, 2nd-placed OM will be looking to bounce back from their 3-0 defeat by Auxerre. Perhaps they’ll be able to do so without talking about refereeing. Nantes (14th), however, will not be making any concessions in their battle for survival. Nice (3rd) will also be favourites against Saint-Etienne (16th), although this is no guarantee. The scenario is similar for Monaco (5th) against Reims (15th), with the need to move forward again as their slide down the standings becomes painful, and Lens (8th) with the reception of Le Havre (17th).
Lyon (6th) will be looking to respond to their defeat by PSG when they host Brest (8th), and will need points to stay well placed in the race for Europe. Just as Brest need to win if they hope to repeat their European campaign next season.
Lastly, on the maintenance front, Montpellier (18) will be looking to revive their fortunes against Rennes (13th), whose mission is to continue their climb up the table and put the fear of descent to rest.
