As it does after each round of league matches, L’Équipe has drawn up its team-type for the 12th day of Ligue 1 2024-2025, which was played over the weekend. With its 3-0 victory over Toulouse at the Parc des Princes, Paris Saint-Germain saw 1 of its players selected: Lucas Beraldo (21-year-old defender).
Beraldo’s inclusion in the team was quite logical, as he was solid in the center of the defense, clean in the restarts and scored with a fine rebound. It’s clear, though, that he’ll have to stay on the sidelines for the time being, as he’s more at home in the middle.
We’re more surprised not to find João Neves (20-year-old midfielder) or Warren Zaïre-Emery (18-year-old midfielder) as they were so valuable. Perhaps not sparkling either, in a PSG not always really convincing.
We also need to know how to give pride of place to other players, and Ligue 1 is full of talent, we must never forget that.
