As is customary after each matchday, L’Équipe has published its Team of the Week for Matchday 17 of the 2025-2026 Ligue 1 season, which took place this past weekend. Following their 2-1 victory against Paris FC at the Parc des Princes, Paris Saint-Germain has two players selected.

The inclusion of Désiré Doué (20-year-old midfielder/forward) and Nuno Mendes (23-year-old left-back) in this Team of the Week is no surprise. Doué was PSG’s main creator of scoring opportunities, in addition to finding the net himself. Mendes was impressive at times, particularly with his powerful runs and defensive solidity. While he still needs to refine some of his attacking decisions, he is a reliable asset in his position.
Willian Pacho (the 24-year-old defender) could also have been considered, given his composure in duels and his distribution, but he faced stiff competition over the weekend. All the better, as it highlights the quality of the league. Meanwhile, the other Parisians lacked a bit of sharpness or consistency to stand out.
