As it does after each round of league matches, L’Équipe has drawn up its squad list for Matchday 10 of Ligue 1 2024-2025, which was played over the weekend (find results and standings here). With their 1-0 victory over Lens (video summary PSG/Lens) at the Parc des Princes, Paris Saint-Germain saw none of their players selected.
It’s a bit of a surprise, since PSG dominated nicely against Lens and we thought we’d find a still-impressive João Neves (20-year-old midfielder). Or the very solid Willian Pacho (23-year-old defender). And possibly Achraf Hakimi (25-year-old right-back). But there may have been a lack of Parisian goals to make the performances more striking.
And we can’t forget that some players shone particularly brightly this weekend in Ligue 1. So much the better, it’s good to remember that there are talented players to be showcased in great teams.
