Every month, the UNFP organizes the election of the best player in Ligue 1. For the October 2024 edition, a Paris Saint-Germain player was in the final: Bradley Barcola (22-year-old striker). He was up against Lucas Chevalier (22-year-old goalkeeper from Lille) and Zuriko Davitaschvili (23-year-old attacking midfielder/winger from Saint-Étienne). It was the latter who came out on top.
A fine reward for Davitashvili, who is helping AS Saint-Étienne get back on track after a very difficult start to the season. It’s good to be able to honour these players too, not just those in the top spots. Even if it wouldn’t have been shocking to see Barcola or Chevalier win the trophy.
