On Tuesday at Anfield, Paris Saint-Germain won 0-2 (0-4 on aggregate) against Liverpool in the second leg of the 2025-2026 Champions League quarter-finals. Here are the ratings given by Le Parisien and L’Équipe to the capital’s players.
Le Parisien :
Kvaratskhelia (5.5) – Dembélé (7.5) – Doué (4)
Zaïre-Emery (5) – Vitinha (6) – Neves (8)
Lucas Hernandez (5) – Pacho (7) – Marquinhos (8) – Hakimi (5)
Safonov (8)
L’Equipe :
Luis Enrique – 7
Kvaratskhelia (6) – Dembélé (8) – Doué (4)
Zaïre-Emery (6) – Vitinha (5) – Neves (7)
Lucas Hernandez (4) – Pacho (7) – Marquinhos (8) – Hakimi (5)
Safonov (8)
The ratings are quite accurate. The central defense was very good, as was Safonov, who surely silenced some critics. Hakimi’s rating is a bit low, but that’s understandable as he wasn’t PSG’s best player on Tuesday night. In midfield, Neves shone, while Vitinha was less involved, which explains his slightly lower rating than usual.
Offensively, everything is once again quite accurate. Kvaratskhelia had a good game, without being extraordinary, and Doué was generous but still a bit lightweight at the moment. Finally, Dembélé was the key player, along with Barcola (not rated), of course. A good evening for PSG, who clearly should have done a bit better, but considering the two legs and the players’ ratings, this qualification is well deserved.
