This Tuesday, Paris Saint-Germain faces Liverpool at Anfield in the second leg of their 2025-2026 Champions League quarter-final (kick-off at 9 pm, CET). On Monday, L’Equipe published a predicted PSG lineup for each club.
Liverpool (4-3-3)
Ngumoha – Ekitike – Salah
Szobozslai – Mac Allister – Gravenberch
Kerkez – Van Dijk – Konaté – Frimpong
Mamardashvili
PSG (4-3-3) –
Kvaratskhelia – Dembélé – Doué
Zaïre-Emery – Vitinha – Neves
Mendes – Pacho – Marquinhos – Hakimi
Safonov
These lineups are quite plausible, given recent matches. Particularly for PSG, the logic is to field the same team that shone in the first leg. Especially since Fabian Ruiz (30 years old) isn’t back in midfield and Bradley Barcola (23-year-old striker) might be a bit short of match fitness to start. Even so, it’s a possibility, and it’s the only “surprise” expected from the Parisian side. But you never know with coach Luis Enrique.
For Liverpool, there are many options. Arne Slot could opt for a 4-2-3-1 or a 4-3-3, possibly with or without Florian Wirtz. Mohamed Salah could also start. This is possible given the Reds’ need to score. But this lineup is far from certain; the suspense should continue until the official announcement, about an hour before the match.
