Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, the 23-year-old SSC Napoli striker under contract until 2027, had been the target of a concrete offer from Paris Saint-Germain during the 2024 summer mercato, but his club had not opened the door despite pressure from his entourage. This winter, PSG managed to reach an agreement that would be around 70 million euros plus bonuses. L’Equipe asserts this Thursday that he is not yet in Paris, contrary to a rumour this morning.

“No, he hasn’t arrived in Paris yet. The two clubs were still finalizing the documents in the last few hours. He should be allowed to travel today if all goes well to pass his medical. It’s taking longer than expected, but no problem.”

Don’t worry, Kvaratskhelia is coming to PSG soon. The media can now fight over the exact timing of each step, and we can remain cautious about the timing. But the main thing is fairly certain: the Georgian international will be signing for Paris very soon. And, logically, soon to play.
