Gianluigi Donnarumma, the 25-year-old goalkeeper who arrived at Paris Saint-Germain in 2021 with a contract running until 2026 (following the end of his own at AC Milan), is regularly called into question by fans and observers. However, an extension is currently under discussion. Corriere dello Sport reported on Thursday, however, that it has been blocked.

Given his contractual situation, a choice will have to be made between Donnarumma and PSG between now and next summer. Today, there seems to be at least one hesitation before signing an extension.
Logically, the Italian is struggling to make the step up to the highest level, and he could be annoyed by the doubts surrounding his contribution. There’s something missing from this Parisian adventure, and a departure wouldn’t be out of the question.
